I taught myself the basic knit and purl stitches years ago but never really did anything more with them. When I started crocheting almost 3 years ago, I knew I wanted to re-learn and then expand on my knitting skills (I like being multi-crafty). In the last two months, I've been doing just that so I was wondering...what's your favorite knitting needle brand? What are your "must-have" accessories and what is a waste of time? I want to have a good set of needles and accessories so I'm as well-rounded a knitter as I am a crocheter.

Thanks!

I learned how to knit first, then I learned how to crochet and been hooked ever since, lol. I remember when I did knit that I used Boye needles. I found crocheting easier for me to learn.
